I’m tough on Non-Fiction books. If they start to bore me, or I feel like I’m reading for school, I’ll abandon ship (ha) pretty quickly (or start skimming). This book held my interest from beginning to end. It read like fiction. It was a great balance between the actual sinking of the ship and background information about the lead up to WWI and submarine warfare. It’s great to finish a book feeling like you learned a lot and at the same time enjoyed the writing.
