EVERYTHING! She writes with humor and makes you fall in love with her characters. At the heart of each book there is something tragic or sad (divorce, death, abuse) but she somehow makes you laugh.

Here is a list of her books, starting with my favorite and working on down. But you can’t go wrong with any of them.

1. Three Wishes- A great story about triplets the year before they turn 34. Each sister is unique and faces her own challenges. I didn’t find any character annoying and was equally invested in them all. The interaction between the family members was witty, loving, and relatable. The triplet aspect is interesting and unlike anything I’ve read before. There are amazing flashbacks where you see the sisters through a stranger’s eyes. Can I please be a member of this family? READ THIS BOOK! So Good.

2. Big Little Lies- The book begins with a murder and you slowly find out more. The novel focuses on moms who happen to all have kids in the same kindergarten class. Of course, they all have widely different backgrounds and there is gossip and secrets galore. I enjoyed the book more than the HBO series. The book made me laugh while the series was darker. Also, I liked the characters more in the book. Don’t worry, the book still has “all the feels.” After having a daughter, I read this book again and enjoyed it even more. Hello Kindy Mums!

3. The Last Anniversary- This book takes place on an imaginary island in Australia. There is a mystery tour of a small cabin where a couple vanished and left their baby behind. The baby (now a lovable old lady) was found and raised on the island by two sisters. But wait, is that what really happened? You’ll want to read to find out. I wish so badly that this island was real because I’d visit in a heartbeat.

4. The Husbands Secret- A husband writes a letter that is only to be opened in the event of his death. It contains his deepest, darkest secret. What if his wife reads it while he is still alive? Another gripping page turner, I highly recommend this book.

5. Nine Perfect Strangers- Nine Perfect Strangers travel to a health resort. Hilarity ensues. It gets a little bizarre and you may have to suspend your disbelief to get through this novel. Just roll with the twists and turns, it’s a fun read.

6. Truly Madly Guilty- A traumatic event occurs at a BBQ. You spend a lot of the book wondering what happened and seeing how different people cope with tragedy. It felt like a lot of waiting around for the answer. That feeling of sluggishness is why I have it rated 2nd to last on my list of favorites. But still worth a read.

7. What Alice Forgot- Alice hits her head and wakes 10 years older. Lots of people enjoyed this book and it has many 5 star reviews. However, I never really liked Alice and felt the booked dragged at some points. For me, it was a little too much confusion and too many misunderstandings.
