I read this book on my beach vacation and it was perfect. The setting is an island off the New England coast. It is the story of two different women—Bianca and Miranda—told over the summer months of three years: 1930, 1951 and 1969. So. Much. Happens. There is murder, a prison escape, a movie star, young love, old love, intrigue, secrets, glamour, betrayal… If you love historical romance with a nice blend of mystery, read this book. Highly recommend!
